Damn... Han Li is so intelligent. The way he controlled that fight and prepped in mere mins was truly impressive. It's like he said in season one... Winning a battle isn't solely about "Cultivation rank", but the methods and tools you use in battle. Good job Han Li... really impressed. Next episode please!!!

That's true for the most part but like he said if he fought a Nascent realm character. Tricks and deception doesn't matter in front of absolute power.

I'll give a summary to what happens according to the novel. Things might be different from donghua when it comes out, since the Donghua has been doing nothing but improving the novel.

After Han Li ran, made a lot of twists and turns and misdirection tactics to evade Wu Chou, he came to Hai Yuan/Sea Apes Isle. People choose places with high spirit power concentration, Han Li choose places with low concentration because it doesn't matter to him.

With Omniverse Governing Bottle... Little Green Bottle, low concentration, he plant a few spirit herbs, drip two drops, BOOM! High conc suddenly! Also Han Li primarily depends on Elixir Pills to breakthrough!

So 4 years after they arrived at Sea Ape Island, Qu Hun successfully Form Core, Han Li fails. Then after Qu Hun Core Formation, Han Li sneaked back back to his previous place to retrieve a very important thing. Gold Devouring Insects, rank 12 in Mortal Realm for its immense survivability and offensive capabilities.

This is one of Han Li strongest magic weapons. In Spirit Realm and above, the Gold Devouring Insects are ranked even higher! Mainly because in mortal realm, these insects can cannibalize each other and become stronger. In higher realm, they can devour even more things and evolve further. Note: Han Li have a Dao Servant originated from one of these things...

Then Han Li failed Core Formation a few more times before he finally succeeded. It's not surprisingly, Qu Hun is 3 Attributes, he'll have an easier time and also he was forming Evil Core, it is a lot easier to form but tradeoff is you can never advance further. Nascent Soul is closed to the guy.

Hey, came back to rewatch some of the episodes again lol, but I have a question. So will they be showing us Han Li failing to reach CF multiple times or do you think they'll skip past up to the point he succeeds?? And he can NEVER advance into NS?! But that can't be right, since isn't it a story about him reaching "immortality" aha?? I'm cool with with a lil bit of spoilers but please keep them to a minimum if you can (if you reply that is aha). Thanks!!

I'm talking about Han Li's external incarnation: Qu Hun, he formed Evil Core which is a darkside's short cut with severe detriment of never able to reach Nascent Soul.

Han Li took the more traditional path, so it's stupidly hard for him to reach CF due to his False Spirit Roots (4 Elements) even with Omniverse Governing Bottle's help to boost Spirit Herbs' age and allow him to vomit out Cultivation boosting Elixirs faster than a hundred modern line production can produce shoes.

Alright, this is end of Season 2.

Ji Xuan? Extreme Yin Island traitor? Nothing. Virtually no relationship, in fact, Han Li don't even know his face. The whole debacle is the result of Han Li's habit of looting and picking up any and everything he can find.

Ji Xuan was a pile of bones when Han Li stumbled upon him earlier this season. The Extreme Yin Island Skills he has came from the Demonic Sect Han Li fought with his Senior Brothers, Sister and Chen Qiaoqian in this season. (Before the Seven Sects lost to the 6 Demonic Sects in Tiannan)

The stuff he gotten from Ji Xuan's corpse and the small time demonic sect in Tiannan. Also the Butian Pills they talked about? Han Li do have them, he got them from Ji Xuan's corpse and have them stashed somewhere.

But between Han Li creating External Incarnation using Zhang Tie's corpse and then his resourcefulness that far exceeds Ji Xuan, makes Wu Chou assume he is Ji Xuan's disciple. After hearing Wu Chou's report, Extreme Yin Ancestor also thinks he is Ji Xuan's disciple.

So Han Li has been labeled Extreme Yin Island Disciple without his permission and knowledge

Ahh I see lol unlucky protagonist. So gotcha, Ji Xuan is the skele with the pass that allowed han li to use the ancient transport portal.

I have only watched Fanren and Soul Land

Surprisingly, the fight scene is lackluster because the Elder Gu is obviously underestimating Han Li and also got too greedy. If he was at 100%, this would've ended very poorly for Han Li. But 2 episodes before, Elder Gu expelled a lot of Truth Essence to kill his friend in 1 shot with a sneak attack. He was weakened.

Previous episode when we see him and Wu Chou escape from Lei Peng's rampage. We see Elder Gu holding his chest and coughing - He got injured while escaping. Even then, he was within 2-3 shot KO Han Li's range and normally, he would've been fine even against 2 Foundation Pinnacle/Fake Core stages.

Just look at a Li Huayuan, Han Li's master. He was injured in the war and when he went to rescue Han Li, the guy literally blinked a dozen Foundation Stages away. Those dozen foundation stages attack power was amped by a Magic Formation!

So it was stupid but understandable why he underestimated Han Li. Also Han Li played a part too! At the start, when Elder Gu throw the crescent blade magic in the general direction of Han Li to bait him, Han Li acted like noob, first he threw a dozen of Fireball scrolls back at the guy, then quickly tries to run and head underwater.

In the end, Elder Gu thought he was bullying a noob who had a few tricks up his sleeves. Turns it this noob had prepared the Great Wall of Plot Armors and he ran straight into it...

Ziling is clever, but she's after all too young but her thoughts were sort of extreme at the end. They are bullies, she should expect the Star Palace to whip out their dicks in preparation of the Most Beautiful girl in all of Fanren Novel to grow up

Yes, Ziling is the most beautiful of Han Li's waifus.
Nangong Wan is described as Elvish, Impish, the mischievous cute girl.
Yuan Yao's description is always her figure, that 'exaggerated' curve or bulge on her chest.
Ziling is described as breathtaking beauty. She enters a room, everyone so awed by her beauty, they freeze there.

There's not much to talk about the dialogue between Ziling and Sixth Elder. It just clement how thoroughly rotten the Star Palace is at this point in time. But at least the Sixth Elder seem to enjoy his 'higher/superior' looking down at the little girl time. So he actually agrees to Ziling's request.

Ziling has very good Spiritual Roots and special constitution. I believe she is True Spirit Roots, 2-3 Attributes. With her Special Constitution, she should be regarded as cultivation rate equals to 1-2 attributes. Also gives Han Li chances to destroy Extreme Yin Island-ish.

Becoming Han Li's wife isn't so bad. Just ask Mu Peiling!!!

Damn its like what was the point in literally backstabb'n his only old friend, Old tart did all this treacherous ploy just so he could live a longer life, but didn't expect to meet his end more swifter by a battle wise strategist like Han Li, Karma always have you on her hit list when you do some F'd up sh*t to another. Hopefully that wasn't no last episode of the season moment at the end there XD. Can't wait to see him and Qu Hun level up to the core formation stage.

By far one of the best Donghuas out there, if not the best. Likeable Mc and good plot as well. Cant wait to see gold devouring beetles in action.

Han li just recovered his powers after 20 years.i have already quit this anime because I have read he will again loose his powers after becoming nescent practitioner or after void opens agin because he became a simp while travelling to spirit realm again he will loose because of a girl ice phoneix girl they both sealed their powers so that no one can attack each other while travelling through void but due to some accident he again looses his powers and starts from square 1 qi cultivation stage and it pissed lots of viewers and they left this novel I hope studio changes this and doesn't play with time of viewers who have invested their time in this series.

What a whirlwind of adventures. Cultivation, betrayal, enlightenment, weapons etc. Not much romance though. Typical of this Donghua it comes to an end for this season with Run! Han Li! Run!

Finally caught up but I'm not sure I am still a fan of what the studio has done to the story! It's way too messed up now. In future it's going to become even more messed up.

It's more hyped than it deserves. Slow pace,no real story,no romance,episodic anime.show is based on cultivation to immortality but development of mc is slow i literally slept maybe i lost interest when mc became a simp and lost his powers because of that.i can't bear to see him grind through same levels and it will take him 200 years to be considered a strong cultivator.just came to check last episode which was released right now.good luck all carry on

Absolutely awesome!! One of the best yet! The graphics are second to none. It's easy to forget that you are watching animation. I would say better than Douluo Dalu all around (if you compare it to the second half or so at least). Douluo just got too drawn out and flashy!!

I guess next season is coming next year. This donghua is really good, definitely my top 5 actually moved to number 1. I just love how well they did it, fight scenes, people’s motives whether be it mortal or immortal, the romance is done well even better than some movies even when it’s tragic they do it well. Definitely 9.7/10. 💜
